Three traits I notice in a person.

First things first, as the title says, these are my personal views and I suppose at least some people out there surely notice some of these characteristics.

Anyways, a major part of the possibility of whether we are going to get along with someone boils down to the hierarchy of our personal choices, i.e. our priority list among the human traits. Someone might prefer a person with a highly practical and driven mind, while an emotional and passionate person will make it to another person’s favorites list. We all choose and get chosen, knowingly or unknowingly we are always competing for a place somewhere, even if it’s in someone’s thoughts. This is how the world works.

I have thought about this and observed the three qualities that I notice in a person the most.

Being the Victim:

Whenever I come across someone new, or I have a talk with someone, what strikes me the most is how that person analyzes various incidents of their past and their current situation. You will always go through people who blame others for all that they have gone through, and on the flip side, you will meet people who can’t stop cursing their own self for being the way they are. Both are the signs of a weak person, at least for me. An individual with a strong personality will always be aware of when they themselves were at fault, and also when they were the victims, and they will accept those facts gracefully.

How grateful they are:

Another quality that is unique to some individuals is gratefulness. You will always feel positive and happy around a person who is grateful for whatever he has. Someone with loads of wealth and all the resources might not be as happy as someone who is poor but content with his life. You can be a billionaire and still be stressed to become the richest billionaire in the world, and you can be broke and be grateful for the eyes you have. It all depends on your mindset.

How big they think:

This might sound old-school and cliche, but it is a very important trait for me. A person who can dream big appeals to me a lot. Someone who is ambitious and always looking to grow and learn will always push you towards excellence and turn you to the path of success as well. Being around such people helps a lot and is practically evident as well. Most of the successful people you will see have at some point in their life been around people better than them, be it universities, mentors, or friends.
